Biscuit base vanilla cake | Charalambides Christis

Ingredients

  • 200g Digestive Biscuits (crushed)
  • 600ml Charalambides Christis Dairy Cream 35% fat
  • 6 spoons of brown sugar
  • 1 Vanilla sachet
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 4 spoons of Corn Flour

Instructions

  1. Put the sugar in a bowl and add 200ml of the dairy cream and mix well until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Pour the remaining cream, vanilla and cornflour into a saucepan. Stir constantly with a whisk over medium heat.
  3. As soon as it starts to heat up, add the mixture of cream and sugar and keep stirring until it starts to thicken. Then remove from heat.
  4. Divide the biscuits into 4 small glasses and place the cream on them.
  5. Let the dessert cool down well and transfer it to the fridge for 2-3 hours.
  6. Finally, sprinkle a little bit more grated biscuit on top of the dessert and serve.
